VIDEOKINGS -- A video recorded at the construction site of UK’s about-to-be largest privately-run mega prison in Wellingborough show how insanely big the facility is going to be. The category C jail is seen as a flagship example of the Government’s aim to create a “modern, efficient prison estate that is fit for the future” and will have a clear focus on “rehabilitating offenders”.

The scheme will see the creation of a 1,680-place category C resettlement prison, which will have seven house blocks with over 60,000m² of accommodation facilities and ancillary buildings, scheduled to be completed in August / September this year.
