Secretly recorded video shows migrants (children) held under bridge in Texas in inhumane conditions.
TEXAS — “A brave insider felt compelled to come forward to Project Veritas with this powerful never-before-seen footage because they felt the public had a right to know” — James O’Keefe, CEO of Project Veritas, on Twitter.
Democrats and Republicans alike are demanding President Joe Biden address the border situation with a pair of bipartisan lawmakers joining forces to demand a billion-dollar fix to the migrant surge.
The mounting pressure comes as a new video shows migrants crammed into makeshift shelters under a Texas bridge and a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol video showed two toddlers being dropped over a 14-foot-high section of the border wall.
Meanwhile, border Patrol agents are on pace for more than 1 million migrant encounters this year, more than double the 458,088 total encounters in 2020.
‘Based upon what we’ve already apprehended and looking at what’s remaining in the fiscal year, that we will have approximately about a million apprehensions or encounters this year,’ Deputy Chief of U.S. Border Patrol Raul Ortiz told CBS’ ‘Evening News.’
The border situation has become a public relations nightmare for President Joe Biden’s administration. Officials continue to refuse to call it a ‘crisis’ even as some Democrats are speaking up about their concerns.
